Today on battle.net a very interesting page has appeared, with the code name Project “Blackstone”. When you log in, you need to enter the access code that was dug up by the craftsmen from TeamLiquid.net – Y7_$0>0k_3After authorization, you will go to the page with letter #01 (there will be seven more such letters), in which a certain Dr. Gelek Branamur will greet you and say that you have become part of the Blackstone project.

It is with great pleasure that I welcome each and every one of you to the Blackstone Project. Heads up, friends! You have become part of a research team carefully selected by the highest ranks of the Dominion’s special services and personally approved by Emperor Mengsk. You will be the vanguard of research efforts designed to protect the human empire and expand its borders throughout the Koprulu sector.
I have no doubt that you still have questions regarding your selection procedure, your sudden arrival at the center and the length of your stay here. I will provide you with all the necessary information in this regard as soon as I deem possible. In the meantime, I strongly recommend that you familiarize yourself with the capabilities of the research complex and communicate with other employees. The token given to you upon arrival will activate the light indicator panels on the floor. Don’t lose it under any circumstances. Along corridors marked with green lights, you can walk from your living quarters to your workplaces. Corridors in which the panels emit an intermittent yellow glow are closed to the public and can pose a threat to life in case of unauthorized entry. Access to premises marked in red is strictly prohibited; the offender will be immediately destroyed. Please do not leave the permitted areas.

Imagine my surprise when I found a “Reply All” option at the end of such a warm and meaningful greeting. I don’t even know if you left it there on purpose so that our esteemed colleagues would have the opportunity to take part in an exciting conversation, or if you simply forgot to turn it off. One way or another, I’m sure I’m not alone in my unfavorable opinion regarding your personnel policy. I assure you that I am not devoid of patriotism and am loyal to the current government. Your department should have limited itself to a written invitation, to which I would have responded immediately with all responsibility and enthusiasm. And it would certainly be much less expensive than sending one of your uncouth ghosts to me in the pitch black night to pull me out through a broken colonial Teredel window. I didn’t even have time to pack a toothbrush!

Your email correspondence is now blocked. I ask that you continue to communicate through authorized personal channels, limiting yourself to questions related to research and its results. After careful consideration of the situation, I have decided to cancel the previously planned party. This way we can start work immediately.
We managed to obtain several samples of zerg larvae for further experiments. I wanted to present them to you solemnly as a surprise at the party and even ordered them to be served in the center of the table. I wanted this kind of kind and cheerful spirit to permeate the relationships in our team. But now our mutual respect has been undermined by this blatant display of Dr. Ayers’ bad temperament. I ask you all to think about how one thoughtless statement can interfere with everyone’s well-being.
Now you can only shrug your shoulders. Especially for our xenobiologists, we prepared larvae for dissection and placed them in the second biological laboratory. Previous research has revealed that human embryonic stem cells and the polypotential cell tissues of zerg larvae are remarkably similar. We are interested in finding a way to prevent the Zerg’s inevitable asymmetrical cell division (an amazing wound-healing ability), as well as adapting this process for use by Dominion soldiers. I invite other researchers to observe the autopsy and participate in the subsequent discussion regarding the analysis of the findings and their potential for military applications.

So what is this page?? PR for the soon to be released HotS, or maybe Blizzard realized their mistakes and decided to buff the Terrans like a king, with hype and pathos?
